Handsome 16.1hh 8yr old chestnut ISH gelding.
Genuine, honest gelding looking for his 5 star home.
In the school – Jack rides in 3 even paces, he is a very straight forward horse to ride and is easy in all ways. He looks after is rider and is not sharp. He is not kick along but is also not a forward going horse, he has a nice even tempo.
Jumping – Jack likes to jump and really tries for his rider, he is no super talented show jumper or BE eventer, He can jump a course of 90cm. He looks after her rider, goes off any stride and gets his rider out of trouble. He is a genuine boy.
In open fields – Jack happily canters around open fields alone or in company, has good brakes and can be pulled up at any time. He has a super willing attitude to everything asked of him. He is always ridden in a snaffle.
Hunting – Jack has been used for hunting in Ireland, and is very sensible and mannerly.
Hacking – Hacks alone and in company, first or last or in big group. Seen all types of traffic from bin man, tractors, milk tankers and timber wagons on the country lanes to lorries and fast cars on a busy b road. Jack takes it all in his stride. He has been hacked in company by novices and never takes advantage.
Jack is easy to catch, no stable vices, easy to tack up groom etc, he was good for the farrier and is currently shod all round. He can be caught in from a 30 acre field on his own or brought in with others, he does dish in front and has slightly turned in feet. Jack passed a 3 stage vetting on the 29/10/2017.
Who would Jack suit? A fab horse for fun rides, beach rides, hunt rides, hunting, low level riding club etc…
